The cuts to entertainment at Walt Disney World’s resorts just keep on coming.
First, the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra announced its final performance, then Yeeha Bob revealed he had been laid off…
…And now it seems as though entertainment performers at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort may have been let go.
According to a Facebook post from Tikiman’s Unofficial Polynesian Resort Pages, entertainers at the resort have been told they will not be coming back to work.
Details surrounding the possible entertainment cuts at the Polynesian are scarce, and Tikiman did not elaborate on who, exactly, may have lost their job today. However, this news comes in the wake of the Walt Disney Company’s announcement today that they were laying off 28,000 employees across the Parks, Experiences and Products division.
When more specific details are revealed, or when these layoffs are confirmed, we’ll be sure to fill you in on the latest news.
