Review! Does This New Pumpkin Mousse in Disney World Taste as Great as it Looks?

If you’ve been following along with all the fall fun here on the DFB, then you’ve seen that Disney World is really delivering on some autumn and Halloween treats that are not only tasty, but also totally Instagram-ready.

And yet, we’re STILL finding lovely little surprises as even more festive treats continue to hit the scene. And that’s certainly true of the newly arrived Pumpkin Mousse at Disney’s Riviera Resort, which is like a little work of art AND a dessert all in one!

You’ll find the Pumpkin Mousse at Le Petit Café, which is located directly off the lobby at Riviera Resort.

Inside the pastry case, you can’t miss the beautiful orange perfectly-shaped pumpkin complete with decorative chocolate accents (including a dusting of dyed cocoa butter).

It’s so pretty, we had to take more than a few photos before digging in!

After our snack got its photo shoot, it was time to find out if this treat tastes as great as it looks… right after one last photo!

Pumpkin Mousse

Ok, and maaaaybe a video, too 😉

The Pumpkin Mousse is described as pumpkin mousse with pumpkin cheesecake and an autumn-spiced sable cookie. And what does that mean?

Pumpkin Mousse

Well, for our taste buds, it means DELICIOUS! It is a little difficult to differentiate in the pictures, but the center is indeed rich and creamy pumpkin cheesecake covered in an airy pumpkin mousse. The sable cookie underneath offers a great bit of crunch, along with a hint of pumpkin spice with a slight emphasis on the ginger, as it was almost reminiscent of a gingerbread cookie.

A word of advice: don’t plan to share… you’re going to want to keep this pumpkin delight all to yourself! The Pumpkin Mousse is $6.99 at Le Petit Café and will be available through November 28th. And you’ll be able to find it as the Jack O Lantern Mousse on October 30th and 31st only! (You can get a little pumpkin preview of it here!)

The Pumpkin Mousse is joined by the Pumpkin Glacé Coffee at Le Petit Café, and we’ll be bringing you our review of this new sip very soon, so stay tuned!
