The Triple Decker Garlic Toast Pulled Pork Sandwich wasn’t the only new menu item we found in EPCOT today!

Between the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and all of the new Halloween snacks around Disney World, there’s been no shortage of awesome eats for us to try lately! But when we saw a new treat on the menu at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, we figured we could make room for dessert!
Guests will find Regal Eagle in The American Adventure pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase. And if the location doesn’t sound familiar, that could be because the restaurant itself is relatively new! Regal Eagle opened earlier this year in the space of the former Liberty Inn.

As the (full) name suggests, this restaurant celebrates the regions of American BBQ and guests will even find a HUGE smoker near the outdoor seating area.

But Regal Eagle isn’t a one-trick pony — you’ll find an assortment of other items on the menu, including a number of sides, as well as beer, wine, and cocktails.

Oh, and did we mention dessert?? As we were making the rounds through EPCOT, we noticed a new Apple Tart on the menu at Regal Eagle. And, of course, we HAD to give it a try!

This dessert consists of a vanilla tart, filled with sweet cream cheese and cinnamon apples complete with a streusel topping!

And this was a treat, indeed! We could definitely taste the sweetness from the vanilla, and the apples added a crisp, refreshing flavor which we really enjoyed!

One of our favorite parts of the dessert was the cinnamon flavor of the streusel topping. And combined with the sweet and refreshing notes from the other ingredients, this Apple Tart was a delightful combination of flavors!

We’d say the Apple Tart is right at home in The American Adventure pavilion!
