Halloween snacks have TAKEN OVER Disney World!
We’ve tried everything from a Mike Wazowski Cake to a Tiramisu that is basically a pumpkin spice latte in food form! But, the Halloween fun is just getting started!
Recently, we shared that even MORE Halloween snacks were making their way to the Disney World Resort hotels and more spots around Disney World. Since we’re on an epic Halloween treats quest, we just had to give some of them a try! So, we stopped by Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and popped in to their quick service location, Roaring Fork.
That’s where we found the “Going Batty” Halloween Cupcake. We’ve seen this Halloween treat in the past, so we were excited to see it was back this year. This snack is a chocolate cupcake with cookies and cream filling and ganache icing.
Oh, and apparently this is a glamorous bat because check out all the sparkle from that edible glitter!
Now despite the fact that, yes, he does look a little bit like a deranged (or worse!!) Baby Yoda, the cupcake didn’t disappoint in the flavor department HAHA! There was plenty of cake to help balance out the super sweetness of the icing and filling. Oh, and while we’re on the subject, the filling was our favorite part! It tastes like a non-frozen version of an Oreo milkshake.
The cookie wings and bat face are chocolate wafer cookies. They didn’t have a crunchy texture like we were expecting, but they also weren’t super soft or soggy!
Say what you want about his looks — this bat is bringin’ the flavor.
