Although the Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels are still currently closed due to the pandemic, there is still much fun to be had at Downtown Disney, which is officially open for business.
And that means we get to check out all the new merchandise coming out of Downtown Disney, as well as keep you up to date on any new information about its shops and restaurants.
Are you ready?
Disneyland App Updates
When on property, the Disneyland app now shows an automatic pop-up notification with a COVID warning. If you click on “Learn More,” you’ll land on Disneyland’s official website through your mobile browser.
Downtown Disney Construction Update
Tortilla Jo’s
Tortilla Jo’s recently expanded its outdoor seating to the area outside of Taqueria, which is still closed.
The Emporium
We managed to snap a photo of the current construction happening just inside Disneyland at the Emporium. However, we also noticed that the Disneyland Hotel lawn work hasn’t started yet.
Downtown Disney Merchandise Update
World of Disney
We spotted a ton of new merchandise at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney! Seriously, take our money, please! First up is the Navy Mickey Mask that we previously found at Walt Disney World. These masks are $6 each and are limited to four per guest.
We absolutely loved the Emerald Minnie Ears when we discovered them at Disney World, and the good news is that they’re also available on the West Coast at Downtown Disney for $29.99. They are SO Wizard of Oz, right?
Another headband we went gaga over at Disney World has also made its way to Anaheim for $29.99. The Yellow Velvet Minnie Ear Headband reminds of us sunny California days.
These Mickey Glove Ears are unbelievably fun and wacky.
We first spotted them at Disney World, but now they’ve made their way to Disneyland’s Downtown Disney. These just make us say, “Oh, BOY!”

Even the Coco Wishables have made their way to Disneyland.
People are going loco over this Pepita Wishable!
These have been selling out quickly online, but we still spotted them in Downtown Disney just yesterday.

Summers can get pretty hot in California, so here’s a Mickey Mister for $27.78 to keep you cool.
Or maybe your idea of staying cool involves a fan. Check out this sweet Disneyland one. These fans are all $9.99 each.
Or maybe you want to chill out with this Orange Bird Fan.
Speaking of birds, how about the silliest bird of all. It’s Hei Hei ON A FAN!
Or how about a Rainbow Mickey Fan?
Of course, Dr. Facilier is the coolest of the cool, at least on this fan.
This Evil Queen Fan, though, has us saying “YAS, QUEEN!”
We loved all of these fun fans and you’ll totally catch us rocking them around the parks.
Check out these new fans here!
The Force is strong with any kid who wears this Youth Star Wars Hoodie, which goes for $39.99.
This is the way! How can anyone resist a BABY YODA HAT (priced at $27.99)?
We also spotted some of the new Disney Villains Stickers! We give this Hades sticker two thumbs way way up.
The Ursula Sticker is for poor, unfortunate souls.
There’s also a Maleficent Sticker.
Perhaps you can meet up with your “Friends from the Other Side” with the Dr. Facilier Sticker.
The Evil Queen Sticker is almost better than a magic mirror.
Which of these stickers is your favorite?

Although vacation seems so far away for most of us, you can bring the vacation home with you with this Mickey’s Vacation Men’s Button Down Shirt for $59.99.
The Dress Shop
It’s always fun to see what fashionable new things The Dress Shop has in stock. This time around, we saw the Faux Leather Mickey Ears in the store!
But there was also this absolutely adorable Mickey Mouse Bowtie for $44.99.
WonderGround Gallery
If art’s your thing, WonderGround Gallery is always adding new prints and items! We would totally hang this Kitchen Kabaret Print for $39.99 in our kitchen!
It’s a total throwback.
