What’s New in Magic Kingdom: Halloween Treats, Spooky Merchandise, and NEW Character Cavalcades!

We’re in Disney World’s flagship park today!

Magic Kingdom tends to be an absolute delight thanks to its classic Disney-ness. Today, it’s even MORE of a delight as Halloween arrives in the park alongside some new merch and other updates. Without further ado, let’s check out everything new in Magic Kingdom today!

Magic Kingdom Food Updates

Various Locations

No surprise here, but we’re starting off with food updates! First off, you’ll be able to spot a ghoulish popcorn bucket available at Magic Kingdom Popcorn Carts around the park. That’s right! The Phineas Popcorn Bucket, inspired by the hitchhiking ghosts of the Haunted Mansion, has returned!

We also found some Halloween Cotton Candy available today in tangerine and grape from the Magic Kingdom Popcorn Carts.

Was it better than normal cotton candy? Hard to say…but it certainly was a treat! You can snag some on your next trip for $5.

Frontierland

Over at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, we spotted Mini Orange and Black Churros — the littler version of the Orange and Black Churros we spotted the other day!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Main Street, U.S.A.

The BIG news today is that Magic Kingdom is finally decorated for Halloween! We noted the beginning of decorations yesterday and now the whole park looks spooky and seasonal as can be!

We’re practically oozing with Halloween spirit!

In addition to the decorations, there are three new Halloween Character Cavalcades featuring costumed characters, villains, frightful fiends! Seriously, you gotta see these Cavalcades.

The Cast Members on Main Street USA were also repping the costumes from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

Tomorrowland

Though we couldn’t see this update in person, Imagineer Zach Riddley shared that the first piece of the TRON Lightcycle Run canopy went into place today.

Finally, let’s talk merch! To go with the overall Halloween spirit today, Disney World busted out the Halloween Balloons!

Over at the Emporium, we spotted some new Disney Kitchen Sponges for $6.99 each! You can snag a Monorail Sponge, an Cinderella Castle Sponge, and a Mad Tea Party Teacup Sponge.
