Bonjour ! Je suis ravi de partager ce premier aperçu des coulisses du chapiteau de l’attraction de Rémy’s Ratatouille Adventure ! (Hello! I’m excited to share this behind-the-scenes first look of the attraction marquee for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!) This original sculpture is the result of a creative collaboration between Pixar and Imagineering artisans, and features Chef Remy surrounded by one of his favorite things – food! This photo captures the critical moment in the marquee’s creation as gold leaf is applied by hand, bringing shimmer and detail to one of our last finishing touches to the exterior of the attraction. I can’t wait to see this marquee completed and installed over the attraction’s main entrance where it will come alive with nearly 200 individual light bulbs!! #Imagineering #DisneyDesignDetails #Pixar #EPCOT

The picture shows an artist applying gold leaf to the sign’s scrollwork. The sign also features the little chef himself, Remy, and utilizes the Art Nouveau font famously seen on the gates for the Paris Metro. As Riddley describes, the sign will ultimately incorporate almost 200 lights.

As our behind the scenes peek showed recently, the attraction’s queue signs were recently installed, as was an analog clock for the FastPass return line.

The attraction will be located in EPCOT‘s France pavilion.
