No, Casey’s Corner isn’t open yet. We’d seen some changes made recently pointing to a future reopening, but sadly our corn dog news has gone cold on that front.
Corn Dog Nuggets from Westward Ho
We did, however, enjoy some corn dog nuggets from Westward Ho in Magic Kingdom recently, but today we found something EVEN BETTER.
There we were — walking through Magic Kingdom, admiring Cinderella Castle, and looking for a satisfying snack. We made our way over to Sleepy Hollow Refreshments and nearly jumped for joy when we saw that HAND-DIPPED CORN DOGS ARE BACK ON THE MENU! We repeat — hand. dipped. corn. dogs.
Sleepy Hollow Corndog
Those who have visited Disneyland or who are Disneyland regulars have a bit more experience with hand-dipped corn dog. We’d seen these beauties at this spot in Magic Kingdom before, but they were later removed from the menu and ultimately replaced by the (not hand-dipped) footlong corn dog. Now, the hand-dipped corn dog is back, and hopefully here to stay!

These corn dogs are dipped to order and served with house-made chips. The one we got was hot and fresh, with that perfect crunch in the fried batter.

We didn’t even feel like it needed condiments, but there were some nearby so we did add a little ketchup, which made it even more delicious in our opinion.
Hand-Dipped Corn Dog
We absolutely LOVED it. Back when we had the original hand-dipped corn dogs here, we had varied experiences with them (with some being great and others being overdone), but the one we got today was perfection. We will totally be back for more!
