If you’re planning on visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios in December and have not yet made a park pass reservation, you may be out of luck.

As you may know, Disney World started the park pass reservation system when it reopened to keep its parks at limited capacity. So a park pass, in addition to a valid ticket, is now required to enter any given park.
We often check park pass availability and we’ve already seen a lot of November dates fill up, but now December is getting full, too, ESPECIALLY at Hollywood Studios. When we recently checked availability for passes, we noticed that EVERY single day, with one exception, was full for Studios for Theme Park Tickets Guests:

We noticed the same for Disney Resort Guests:

There was one big exception, though: Christmas Day. Instead, Magic Kingdom is full on December 25th for most guests.

Annual Passholders, though, still have some options in December: see all that green? Those are days when park passes are available for EVERY park, including Hollywood Studios. This is pretty opposite
of what we’re used to seeing since Annual Pass spots tend to fill up the fastest.

Keep in mind that we’ve seen these situations change: Disney often releases more park passes for specific days. So our best advice is to keep checking if you’re looking to visit the parks in December. And as always, we’ll keep checking, too, and let you know when availability changes!
