Halloween at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Will Look Different This Year

Walt Disney World has announced some changes that will be taking place this Halloween at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), trick-or-treating at the campground is not permitted this year. All activities and gatherings should also be limited just to those guests in your travel party.

This year on Halloween, guests at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will still be able to participate in the golf cart and campsite decorating contests as well as a pet costume contest and pumpkin carving contest – with a few modifications. There will be a new pumpkin scavenger hunt for guests of all ages who will also be able to participate in decorating their own mini pumpkin.

If you’re planning to wear a Halloween it’s important to remember that “a costume mask is never a substitute for a required face covering.”

Guests who would like more information on activities taking place at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground this Halloween are encouraged to stop by the Bike Barn in the Meadows Recreation Area once they arrive.
