Hello, DFB friends! We’ve had an amazing day at Disney World and have loads of photos and videos to share with you!
We had two reporters out and about in Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom — with a stop at Boardwalk as well! So are you ready? We started right at the beginning (with breakfast) so HERE WE GO!
Boardwalk Bakery
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, PLUS we just HAD to try out the new Halloween treats at Boardwalk Bakery at Disney’s Boardwalk, along with the returning Pumpkin Bread. So we did! And we were greeted by Cast Members with a smile! It was so awesome to meet this bakery team.
Disney magic happens everywhere, folks! Also, WE HAD THOSE TREATS.

And yes, our Halloween snacks are on a Christmas plate, because holiday plates have officially arrived at Disney World!

Animal Kingdom
Our bellies full of sugary goodness, we headed over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Once inside the gates, we decided to immediately check out the line for Na’vi River Journey. The wait time was 60 minutes. Whew! But for this attraction, that’s actually not bad.

And as expected, the line for Flight of Passage was long, too. It stretched all the way to the bathrooms at Festival of the Lion King. The wait time, though, was only 70 minutes. Music was playing there, though, and we realized how much we miss the Festival of the Lion King show!
After checking out the lines, we just took a moment to admire the beauty of Pandora. We’ve seen it A LOT, but seriously, it never gets old. HAPPY SIGHS.

But we also took some time to admire some snacks! We dig this Blueberry Almond Popcorn from the Flight of Passage shop!

While we were looking at snacks and doing a little shopping, we were VERY happy to see the new Starbucks Animal Kingdom Tumblers!

These new Starbucks park tumblers are AWESOME.

But then it was time for a surprise character cavalcade! Look! It’s Pocahontas and Meeko! We love that silly raccoon. We even recently spotted him on some Animal Friends merchandise!

After the cavalcade, we took a moment to check out Expedition Everest, looking as imposing as ever!
We also looked at another line: there was a 45-minute wait to get SOAKED on the Kali River Rapids. We passed!
Instead, we took a moment to just chill in front of the Tree of Life, which had a little blue visitor.
As we walked around the tree, we discovered that It’s Tough To Be a Bug had a line with a 30-minute wait time! WHAT?
But all in all, we didn’t feel like Animal Kingdom was as busy today as we’ve seen on previous Sundays.
Magic Kingdom
We still get a little teary-eyed when we walk through Cinderella Castle.

But then we were making our way over to ride Pirates of the Caribbean and singing along, “Yo ho, Yo ho, a pirate’s life for me!” And THAT SMELL — it’s so distinct, isn’t it?
Aahhhhh can you smell that bromine-tinged air? pic.twitter.com/mz8lKU6oSA

After our ride with Captain Jack and his pirate friends, we even found areas where Magic Kingdom wasn’t so busy. NIIIICCCEEEE!
Magic Kingdom zen. Not too busy over in this area right now! pic.twitter.com/csFHgrWaJh

This included the Rivers of America, which seem so peaceful right now.
After taking a moment to just breathe and take it all in, we hopped on Splash Mountain, where poor Br’er Rabbit was having a really tough day. We get it. We’ve been there!
Been there, BR. Been. There. https://t.co/12Cn9WRtef

The dwarves on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, though, were in much better spirits and were Heigh Ho’ing their way to work!

And after spending some time with the dwarves, we hopped onto Peter Pan’s Flight — it’s just so magical flying over London and into Neverland!
Would you rather…ride Peter Pan or ride Peoplemover?? pic.twitter.com/MTkIGji0MQ

Then it was over to Tomorrowland! Hop in line for Space Mountain? Don’t mind if we do! This ride just gives us so much nostalgic joy.
All in all, it was a good day, but any day is a good day when it’s spent at Disney World, right? We’ll keep sharing photos and videos of our Disney World adventures with you, so please, keep tuning in!
