The Spice & Tea Exchange, located in Disney Springs‘ Marketplace, underwent a mini refurbishment this past week, and I stopped by today to take a look at some of the changes (including the addition of a tea bar!) that have taken place.
True to its name, The Spice and Tea Exchange is your go-to spot in Disney Springs for all things culinary. During this week’s refurb, each prominent line of products received their own dedicated space, and a new Tea Bar was installed.
The Tea Bar is located to the left as you walk into the shop. Although the bar is fully installed and complete, it hasn’t yet received the final stamp of approval. Once that is given, which team members are hoping will happen next week, the Tea Bar will fully open to guests seeking a little refreshment. In the meantime, samples of the shop’s creative iced tea blends are being served. Today’s sample flavors were Berry Boo-quet, White Tropical, and Southern Iced.
Shoppers can find all things tea next to the Tea Bar, from kettles and glass pitchers with built-in infusers to Steepware thermoses and ceramic mugs.
The store’s custom blends of sugars are featured on their own wall. A sale is currently running on their consumables: buy 5, get one free.
A demonstration space is also ready for activity near the middle of the store where workshops can be held in the future.
The shop’s custom blends of teas, sugars, spices, salts, and peppers is extensive. If you love cooking, you’re going to want to save a bit of time to sift through everything.
Loose leaf tea blends are found along the back right wall of the store. A team member can help you pick out the right blend if you need extra assistance. The teas come in a variety of sizes, which I’ve personally appreciated when trying new teas in the past.
Salt blocks and mortars and pestles are also sold in the store. If you’re looking for a gift for a foodie, this is your place.
The Exchange also offers new artisan dried pasta and olive oil. You can also pick up cruets and cookbooks here as well.
Artisan soy candles are also available for $29.99, and are included in the consumables special that’s currently running. If you’re a fan of the large spice and tea jars found throughout the store, you can have your own for $24.99.
Is The Spice & Tea Exchange a must-do on your Walt Disney World vacations?
