NEWS: Disney World Asks Guests to Reschedule If They Cannot Follow Face Mask Policies

Disney World has been open for a few months, but that doesn’t change the fact that many policies are still evolving in the interest of guest health and safety.

Together Again Face Mask

The face mask policy in the resort has seen several changes since the parks reopened. Just last week, Disney introduced new signs and announcements in the parks noting that guests who refuse to wear a mask will be asked to leave. Now, Disney has updated the language online as well.

In an update to the Disney World Park Pass Reservation information page today, Disney notes that guests who are unable to observe the face mask policy (wear a face covering over your nose and mouth at all times except in designated areas) should “please reschedule your Walt Disney World visit to a later time.”

At this time, Disney is pushing to be more strict when it comes to mask regulations in the parks. For those who are unable to wear a face mask or simply refuse, Disney is now blatantly asking guests to reschedule for a later time. And in the parks, they have stated that guests will be asked to leave if need be. Noncompliance in the parks may have inspired this adjustment in language.
