As we await the reopening of Disneyland, the park is taking different steps in terms of health and safety.
Disneyland is now providing more accessible ways to get tested for COVID-19.
Disneyland recently announced that they will start offering more FREE COVID-19 testing for Cast Members working during the closure.
This means that for anyone working at Disneyland who thinks they might have COVID-19 symptoms — or been in close contact with someone who did — now has access to free testing.
In a statement, Disney theme parks chief medical officer Pamela Hymel said, “We have finalized a plan for all working cast members of the Disneyland Resort to have access to free, easily accessible testing options.”
So while the parks await the green light to reopen, Cast Members can now simply visit a local CVS drive-thru for a test, or even more conveniently, they can request at-home mail-in tests starting on October 26.
In addition to another previous testing option at an Anaheim clinic, these two new methods are free for working Cast Members — they just need to show an insurance card.
