The global health crisis continues to bring many challenges to the theme park industry.

And although Tokyo Disney Resort has reopened, and the parks have resumed nighttime entertainment and character meet-and-greets, one program at the resort is going away — at least for the time being.

According to a page on the Tokyo Disney Resort website, it looks like Tokyo Disney Resort is ending its Annual Passholder Program. The site states that refunds will begin today, October 23rd, for guests who have annual passes that expire on February 29th, 2020 or later.

Although expiration dates were initially extended for annual passes, those dates are no longer valid. Annual Passholders will also no longer have access to the park admission lottery after December 2020.

Tokyo Disney Resort will offer updated information about Annual Passports by the end of March 2021. So it seems that the Annual Passport Program is only being ended temporarily. Tokyo Disney Resort Annual Passholders can learn more about refunds here.

Just as a reminder, new Disney World Annual Passes are not currently for sale. We’ll continue to keep an eye on the situation and let you know if anything changes.
