OUR FAVORITE FOOD FROM EPCOT FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL BOOTHS

With the coming of the Fall season marks the start of yet another amazing Food and Wine Festival at the very Epcot. Disney has been cooking up some fresh new delights in order to keep things new and exciting, but with so many different items to try, it can be hard to settle on just one tasty dish. Fortunately, we have tasted these incredible dishes at Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, and we are here to share and give our honest opinion about the dishes from this taste test adventure.

CHIMICHURRI STEAK FROM FLAVORS FROM FIRE

For our first stop on the taste test around the world includes a stop at the newly opened Flavors from Fire booth. We picked up the Chimichurri Steak which is a Charred Chimichurri Skirt Steak on a Smoked Corn Cake with Pickled Vegetable Slaw and Cilantro Aïoli, price pointed at $7.00. The flavor on this dish is very delicious, you get the sweetness from the Corn Cake and then you get the tanginess from the Pickled Slaw. This dish has yet again not to disappoint us, as we did order this last year and it’s just as good if not better!

CORNED BEEF & CHIPS FROM FLAVORS FROM FIRE

Moving onto the second dish we picked up from Flavors From Fire, we got the Corned Beef & Chips. This dish consists of Smoked Corned Beef with Crispy Potatoes, Cheese Curds, Pickled Onions, and Beer-Cheese Fondue, which is price pointed at only $5.25. One thing we wished is that the Corned Beef was cut just a bit smaller just to make it a little easier to eat and not as messy. Other than that, the taste on this dish was very delicious and Jen thought it was better than the Chimichurri Steak and I would have to agree with her on that. This dish is so good we would like to go order another one but we have more delicious foods to taste!

S’MORES WHOOPIE PIE FROM FLAVORS FROM FIRE

Next on the list from yet again Flavors From Fire is the S’more Whoopie Pie! This dish is a Smoked Chocolate Cake, Graham Cracker, Marshmallow, Chocolate Ganache, and Candied Bacon, price pointed at $4.00. This tastes just like a Whoopie Pie, but S’mores Flavored! You don’t get a lot of the Graham Cracker just because the Chocolate Bun over powers it and with the Candied Bacon you don’t taste it much besides a little saltiness. All in all, this tasty dessert was very delicious and we would 100% order this again.

THE IMPOSSIBLE SLIDER FROM EARTH EATS

Moving on around the world, we stopped by Earth Eats to pick up The Impossible Slider! With a unique blend of flavors this dish consists of a tasty Burger, served with Wasabi Cream and Spicy Asian Slaw on a Sesame Seed Bun, price pointed at $5.25. One warning about this dish is that it is a bit spicy, so be prepared for a burn to be served up with this plate!

KÃLUA PORK SLIDER & SPAM HASH FROM THE HAWAI’I BOOTH

Last but not least, we conclude our taste around the world at the Hawai’i booth, which is serving up a Kãlua Pork Slider and Spam Hash! The Kãlua Pork Slider is served with Sweet-and-Sour DOLE Pineapple, Chutney, and Spicy Mayonnaise, price pointed at $5.25. The Teriyaki-glazed SPAM Hash is served with Potatoes, Peppers, Onions, and Spicy Mayonnaise, price pointed at $4.25. Both of these Hawaiian Dishes were very tasty and a must try here at Epcot Food & Wine Festival.
