The NBA bubble here at Walt Disney World has wrapped up, the players have all headed home, and Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort has now reopened. As we might expect, there have been some changes. Join me as we take a look around!

Upon entering the lobby of Gran Destino Tower, guests are greeted by a sign directing them to proceed to their rooms if they’ve checked in online, as we’ve seen at other Disney resorts.

Physical distancing markers are in place in the front desk area should guests need to ask a question or two.

For the time being, Barcelona Lounge, located in Gran Destino’s lower lobby, will open every day at 5pm.

The seating area is still as lovely as ever, but now features safety measure reminders and a few less seats. Barstools have also been removed from the bar as well.

Some of the chairs in the work spaces in the lobby have also been removed to help promote physical distancing.

The former lobby area features large wingback chairs and couches, all spaced out appropriately.

Panchito’s Gifts and Sundries is open again, and some of the merchandise racks and tables have been removed to allow better guest flow through the space.

Plexiglass has been installed at the cash registers.

Dahlia Lounge, located on the 16th floor of Gran Destino Tower, will open daily at 5pm. Guests are reminded of the need for physical distancing throughout the lounge. If you haven’t stopped by Dahlia Lounge in the past, I highly recommend stopping by. The view of Walt Disney World property from up there is stunning.

Toledo, one of the resort’s table service locations, located across from Dahlia Lounge, will not be serving at this time. Maya Grill and El Mercado de Coronado, the resort’s quick service location, will remain closed as well.

Rix Sports Bar and Grill is currently available, and Three Bridges Bar & Grill, located on the lake, opens each day at 4:30pm.

The Lost City of Cibola pool is open at this time, and the lounge chairs have been spaced out to allow physical distancing between groups.

Siestas Cantina, the pool bar, is open and has been outfitted with plexiglass and distancing markers.
