We already knew that Disney World would be busy on Halloween! We saw park pass reservations for today disappear pretty quickly, after all!
But we are there on the spookiest day of the year, and we’ve got photos and videos to show you just how crowded it really is!
When it comes to celebrating the spookiest day of the year, what better place than the Most Magical Place on Earth?! After all, Magic Kingdom IS home to the quintessential Halloween-y ride!
Speaking of The Haunted Mansion, we HAD to make it our first stop on Halloween! After saying hello to Madame Leota…

…we found some pretty expected crowds lining up outside the mansion.
As you can see, despite the crowds, guests were doing their best to remain socially distanced.
Over on Main Street, U.S.A., we were surprised by the lack of crowding! And the lack of spooky music?!

People definitely turned out for the Halloween cavalcades, though!
Over in Liberty Square, the crowds were so minimal that it was downright SERENE!
In Tomorrowland, we saw more people gathering, but again people were doing their best to spread out. We LOVED seeing a few people out in costumes!

Although Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled this year, we get why Disney fans would want to spend Halloween at the parks, especially with adults being able to wear costumes during regular operating hours! But also keep in mind that many lines look longer than they really are due to social distancing.
Overall, it seems the park wasn’t quite as swarming as Labor Day weekend, which reached capacity limits. We will keep adding to this post throughout the day, so stay tuned!
Also, please note the parks are still operating at a 25% capacity with guests, according to Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek. So although this seems like a busy day, it’s not nearly as crowded as it has been on previous Halloweens!
