This week we headed to Walt Disney World’s wildest resort to see what’s new and what’s happening. We decided to visit Kidani Village, the DVC resort area, to check out the pool and take in the savanna view!

The gift shop is home to all sorts of resort keepsakes. We definitely had our eye on a particular goodie that’s only sold at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We had to make sure that Zebra Domes were still available to pick up. To our delight, the gift shop is still selling one of our favorite sweet snacks!

Maji Pool Bar
The pool bar at Kidani Village reopened with the rest of the resort in June. We noticed the bar was trying out a few new menu items. The Cast Member told us the Roast Turkey Sandwich and Tuna Salad Pita Platter are available on a trial basis. If all goes well, the two entrees will become permanent residents of the pool bar!

We spotted a few items that are worth noting for future visitors of Kidani Village! The fur-ociously awesome Animal Kingdom Lodge mug comes decorated in several animal prints.

The mug is $19.99 and we think it compliments the new Animal Print Dooney & Bourke collection nicely. Also, did you notice the giraffe handle??

We also spotted the new Oliver and Company pin here. We’ve seen this pin in various other gift shops around Disney World and we’re digging the throwback vibes!

P.S. We didn’t spot any giraffes, zebras, or any other animals on the savanna today. Hopefully, they were just taken inside for some lunch and relaxation!
