We have seriously been enjoying the beginning of the holiday season at Disney World. There is really only one word we can use to describe it…MAGICAL.
And sure, that’s a word that gets thrown around a lot when it comes to Disney World, but after you see the photos and videos we took today, we think you’ll agree that it’s the truth!
Magic Kingdom
We’ve been going NUTS over all the holiday merchandise in the shops, so when we popped into the Emporium at Magic Kingdom and saw a Gingerbread Mickey Hat, we could not resist!

This sweet hat, which is $29.99, is pretty much everything we love about the holidays!

So after we found the perfect hat, we peeked out at Main Street and saw the Muppets again! And it never gets old! It’s always a good day when Sam the Eagle and Gonzo are looking down upon us.

After the Muppets entertained us, Donald and Daisy came out to give us some holiday greetings — and they were wearing new outfits!
It looks like they have a few different holiday outfits in their closets!
Here’s more about the new holiday outfits we saw on characters
We love Donald and Daisy, but there was one character who came out today that got us SUPER EXCITED because we rarely get to see him — Jiminy Cricket!

He even got all dressed up in his holiday best to greet guests!

And then there was a character cavalcade! All this holiday music just makes us so happy!

After seeing so many characters, it was time to grab a seat inside the Carousel of Progress. It’s an oldie, but a goodie!

We still get a little teary when we hear “It’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.” So many nostalgic feels here. Come along with us as Grandma learns to use VR!

Speaking of oldies, but goodies, we popped by the Hall of Presidents!
After revisiting some of our nation’s history, we headed over to Tomorrowland, and guess who we saw? SANTA BUZZ LIGHTYEAR!
This definitely put a smile on our face!
See more photos of our encounter with Buzz!
Buzz made our hearts feel so merry and bright that we just had to go ride the Jingle Cruise again! Hello, Trader Sam! We hear he’s got a two-for-one special for us.
The sun began to set on our cruise and after we made it through the jungle, we wandered back to Main Street and noticed that the holiday balloons have officially come out!

Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom is feeling the holiday spirit, too! Another one of our reporters spent the day over in the lovely AK! We love the festive touches to this tree near the Tree of Life. The decorations here are so inspired! And so many pretty lights!
Speaking of the Tree of Life, doesn’t it look majestic?
As we walked into Africa, we fell in love with the colorful banners starting to light up as the sun set.
As we made our way to Asia, the holiday paper lanterns nearly took our breath away! We totally get why Rapunzel loves the lanterns so much!
These beautiful lights are why this is our favorite time of day at Animal Kingdom!

Even Dinoland U.S.A. looks beautiful and merry at night! SIGH!
RAWR, holiday dinosaur, RAWR.
After visiting all the dinos, we had to wander back over to the Tree of Life to see it all lit up at night! And it, obviously, did not disappoint!
We can’t imagine ending the day on a better note — all those pretty colors! And we’ll be back at Disney World soon, so stay tuned so we can take you along with us!
