Disney World is known for their innovative and unique attractions.
While there are clear crowd-favorites and rides you can usually count on as a walk-on, we wondered how overrated and underrated these attractions are!
We reached out to our followers on Instagram via story to see which Walt Disney World attractions are the most overrated and underrated! Some of the results were expected, but others were pretty shocking!
Overrated
Peter Pan’s Flight
First up, the people voted Peter Pan’s Flight as an overrated attraction! About 56% of voters agreed with this, while 44% thought this attraction was underrated.
Peter Pan’s Flight is an opening day attraction for Magic Kingdom and continues to draw crowds through the years. We get how this could be voted as overrated since it is SO popular, but we do love that feeling of flying over Neverland (even after an hour wait).
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
Over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, our voters decided Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run was also overrated with 53% of the vote. This was a small margin, but this still ended up in our overrated category.
Although Smuggler’s Run is a new attraction, it is hard to compete with experiences like Rise of the Resistance. However, we still enjoy getting the fly the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!
“it’s a small world”
Perhaps one of Disney’s most infamous rides, “it’s a small world” was voted as overrated by 56% of voters. The margin was also close on this one with 44% saying this is an underrated attraction.
Maybe that repetitive yet catchy song is what put this in the overrated category, but it’s hard not to love an original Disney attraction!
Underrated
Jungle Cruise
Now, to the underdogs of the DFB Insta poll! First off, our followers voted the Jungle Cruise as an underrated attraction! The poll finished with 60% of the vote for underrated.
Between the skipper’s hilarious jokes and a tour of the jungle, what more could you want? While Jungle Cruise is usually pretty popular over at Magic Kingdom, our followers think this one deserves some love.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
This one was a bit surprising, but 66% of voters think The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is underrated! The attraction is a cult-classic which is what made these results a little shocking!
Even though people are obsessed with this attraction, it is one of the older ones in Hollywood Studios. With Toy Story Land and Galaxy’s Edge in the park, this one can be overlooked by certain guests.
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros
The hidden gem that is the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros was voted as underrated. And by a lot! 71% of voters agreed that this attraction deserves some more attention.
While this may not be the most exciting attraction in EPCOT (especially with Frozen Ever After next door), this little boat ride is pretty adorable. Plus, who doesn’t love the Three Caballeros?!?
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
The SUPER popular Magic Kingdom attraction, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, is underrated according to our followers! Fans were pretty split on this one as 52% voted underrated and 48% voted overrated.
SO many Disney fans adore this attraction, so it’s difficult to decide if it is overrated or underrated!
Living with the Land
Living with the Land in EPCOT was voted underrated by 73%! This did not come as a shock because the attraction is such a hidden gem!
This attraction is tucked away in the Land Pavilion and it is rare to see it with a long wait time. Looks like Disney fans think it deserves some more love!
Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid
Over in Magic Kingdom, 55% of voters agreed that Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid is underrated. This one was a pretty close call!
Magic Kingdom has many attractions, and while it may not be the most exciting ride, this is a must-do for The Little Mermaid fans!
PeopleMover
And the attraction with a whopping 76% for underrated, the PeopleMover!
Although this attraction is currently closed for refurbishment, the PeopleMover is officially the most underrated attraction according to our readers! It takes guests on a relaxing ride through Tomorrowland and is loved by many Disney fans!
That’s a wrap on the results for which Disney World attractions are underrated and overrated! We had a blast seeing how our followers responded and stay tuned for the next DFB Instagram poll!
