When visiting Orlando, you must find the perfect to stay at, while Orlando certainly has a variety of things to offer, it’s best to find the perfect one for you and your family. Whether you stay at an airbnb or even just a hotel, there are a plethora of places to stay at. Disney World is home of some of the coolest Resorts to stay at and the experience you and your family will have will be magnificent. Today we are going to share our stay and experience at Disney’s very own Fort Wilderness Resort, where we stayed in one of their amazing Cabins.
DISNEY’S FORT WILDERNESS RESORT
Created on 750 acres of pine and cypress forest, we find ourselves at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. This Resort & Campground revolves around the amazing beauty of the American Frontier. With a variety of wildlife such as deer, ducks, armadillos and rabbits, the Fort Wilderness Resort welcomes everyone to enjoy the scenic woodland trails, pool areas, entertainment and tasty country eats. Fort Wilderness Resort is located in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area and is also located near Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This amazing Resort/Campground brings a rustic theme to life making you feel like you’re actually in the wilderness.
THE CABIN
With over 400 of them, we find ourselves staying at the Cabins here at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The Cabins here in Fort Wilderness are accustomed to 1 Queen Bed, 1 Bunk Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa, these beautiful cabins sleep up to 6 guests. Taking a look inside the rooms itself, they are accompanied with one Queen bed, one double bed, dressers with 4 small-size drawers, and one pull-down bed. The rooms have nightstands with digital alarm clocks and flat-panel TV’s. The Cabins amenities include WiFi wireless Internet access, a full-sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board and iron, digital thermostat, In-room safe, shampoo and bar soap, a dishwasher, a stove, and a limited collection of pots, pans, plates, glasses and silverware. They provide you with everything you would need for a perfect staycation and more!
THINGS TO DO
The amazing Cabins here at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort has an amazing selection of things to do. The resort features multiple dining options that your family can enjoy a meal at. Some dining options include Trails End Restaurant, The Chuck Wagon, P & J’s Southern Takeout, Meadow Snack Bar and Crockett’s Tavern. As far as recreation goes you can get a full experience pool side or get some excitement by doing an Archery Experience. But, if you want to get the full rustic wilderness experience you can take pony rides, wagon rides or horse-drawn carriage rides. They also offer Motorized Boat rentals, Canoe rentals, Bike rentals and Kayak rentals. But if you’re looking for some simpler things to do you can take a Wilderness Back Trail Adventure, play at either Daniel Boone and Davy Crocketts’s Wilderness Arcade, or even by taking a jog around there beautiful trails, Fort Wilderness has it all.
Visiting Orlando is amazing, but when you plan your visit you must pick the perfect place to stay at. The Disney Resort experience is something everyone needs to try out.
