NEWS: Bob Iger Shares Condolences After Passing of Alex Trebek

Earlier today, the world received news that beloved host of Jeopardy, Alex Trebek, had passed away.

After the news broke, many fans and celebrities took to social media to mourn the loss of one of television’s most iconic and enduring personalities.

Disney Executive Chairman and former CEO Bob Iger was one of the first to offer his condolences on Twitter. Iger shared what Trebek meant to all of his friends, family, and fans and shared his condolences for his family. He mourns the loss of “a friend, a colleague, an icon.”

Trebek served as the host of Jeopardy for 36 years. In 2019, he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and was 80 years old when he passed. Our thoughts are with Trebek’s family and friends at this time.
