Disney announced earlier today that Park Hopping will be coming back in 2021(!) with some modifications.

So, soon you’ll be able to ride Expedition Everest in the morning and then finish your day with a quick intergalactic trip to Batuu. What does that mean in terms of transportation though? How will you be able to get from one park to the other? Here’s what we know.
Currently, park-to-park transportation is not really available since park hopping itself is not available. But, when Park Hopping returns in 2021, it appears park-to-park transportation will return with it.
Ticket and Transportation Center Busses
We called Disney this morning and the Cast Member we spoke to said that Disney plans to bring back transportation between parks when Park Hopping resumes. We also chatted with another Cast Member through Walt Disney World’s online chat feature, and that Cast Member said that Disney plans to bring back park-to-park transportation in 2021. In terms of exactly what kind of transportation will become available, the Cast Member we spoke with via chat said more information will be released on this in the future.

At what time will you be able to hop on some transportation from your first park to your second? The Cast Member we chatted with specified that park-to-park transportation is set to begin operating approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of Park Hopper hours. Currently Park Hopper hours are set to begin at 2PM.
Park Hopping Procedure
As a reminder, Park Hopping will only be available for guests with a ticket or annual pass that has Park Hopper benefits. Guests must also make a Park Pass Reservation at the first park they want to visit AND visit that park. Then, after 2PM, guests will have the ability to hop to another park depending on availability.
