Almost a month ago, we learned that Disneyland could reopen to guests upon reaching the tier 4 – yellow – minimal status according to the state of California’s COVID-19 dashboard.

Monday afternoon, approximately 94% of the state, including Orange County where the Disneyland Resort is located, was moved back to the tier 4 – purple – widespread level.

Downtown Disney has been reopened for a bit now and Buena Vista Street inside Disney California Adventure Park is supposed to reopen Thursday, November 19th. As of the time of this post, we are unsure of the effect the move to tier 1 will have, but here is what we know from the

• Restaurants and wineries: Outdoor only with modifications
• Bars, breweries, and distilleries: Closed

Retail

• Open with modifications
• Retail capacity must be limited to 25%

Theme Parks

• Closed

Hotels

• Open with modifications
• Fitness centers can be open outdoors only with modifications
• Indoor pools, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms must close
