It is indeed the season to “have a cup of cheer,” but we’re going for one better today.
Frozen Coffee with Tap 357 Whisky at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays
Because they’re serving TWO new cups of cheer — specialty coffee beverages, to be exact — at Disney’s Riviera Resort. And we picked up the Noel Blanc Glace and the Toasted Praline Cold Brew to bring you this extra-caffeinated review!
You’ll see both beverages listed under the Specialty Iced Coffees on the menu at Le Petit Café.
Le Petit Cafe Menu
The Noel Blanc Glace isn’t your typical cup o’ joe, that’s for sure. This frozen cold brew coffee is blended with white mocha, cinnamon, and milk. (You’ll also spot a Noel Blanc Latte up for grabs — hot or iced, your choice.)
Noel Blanc Glace
It’s topped with blue sugar crystals for a seasonal winter touch. And those sugar crystals also serve as a pretty good indicator of the flavor profile for this very, VERY sweet drink.
Noel Blanc Glace
It’s so sweet, that it doesn’t taste much like coffee — it’s really much more of a dessert, in that sense. But the white mocha and cinnamon together are a totally winning combo, making this like a Christmas dessert in a cup!
Noel Blanc Glace
The Noel Blanc Glace is $5.99, and while it might not be ideal for your morning sip, it is a really enjoyable treat nonetheless.
The Toasted Praline Cold Brew doesn’t sport an especially unique appearance, comparatively. It features the Resort’s specialty blend cold brew served together with house-made praline marshmallow cream.
Toasted Praline Cold Brew
The cream blends in wonderfully with the cold brew, boasting a very lovely praline flavor. The drink is sweeter than most cold brews due to the cream, which is almost similar to a syrup in regards to how much it affects the color of the beverage.
Toasted Praline Cold Brew
The marshmallow presents itself primarily in the aftertaste, and blends in nicely with the praline as you enjoy the rest of the drink.
Toasted Praline Cold Brew
The Toasted Praline Cold Brew is $4.79, and came out as the favorite of the two drinks for our tastes. But, as we’ve learned here at Le Petit Café, a lot of the specialty coffee creations here are typically quite good. And no matter which you choose, you’ll likely find it worth your coffee splurge, as there tends to be something to suit just about every coffee palate.
And, hey, while we’re here at Disney’s Riviera Resort… did you get to see it all decked out for the holidays?
We’ve got more coming to you from Le Petit Cafe at Riviera Resort, so stay tuned!
