Construction is continuing over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
We previously noticed that the iconic beams had been removed from the Great Ceremonial House to make way for new designs on the roof. The façade of the hotel is getting a full-scale makeover, and we’re starting to see more of the new elements getting installed!
The new, much smaller, beams are starting to get put into place! In our last construction update, we saw the supports get added. With those in place, construction seems to be moving along quickly!
Keep in mind that not only is the outside of the resort getting a new look, but so is the inside! The guest rooms here will be getting a Moana-inspired makeover! In order to accomplish all this work, the resort will not fully reopen until next year.
We’re very eager to see all of the changes and interested to see how Poly fans react to the changes. In the meantime, we’ll make sure to keep you updated on the latest construction and renovation progress!
