There’s nothing quite like Disney World during the holiday season!
Disney decorates the parks and resorts to make us feel warm, cozy, holly, and jolly — all at the same time! So far this holiday season, we’ve seen decor pop up at a number of resorts — Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and several others. Now we can add two more resorts to the list because the halls are decked at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
In the lobby of the Polynesian, we spotted the gorgeous Christmas tree! It really matches the island vibe of the resort and it’s a great spot to stop for a photo if you’re staying here.
In BouTiki, the Poly’s gift shop, we noticed several holiday accents. There are wreaths hanging on the walls, a very festive looking tiki, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. And, of course, there were several pieces of seasonal merchandise so guests can take some holiday cheer home with them!
Many of the tiki decorations received a Christmas makeover. We think the garland and bows definitely make them look festive!
In the lobby, there was also garland strung from the ceiling.
Man, Disney really knows how to make a string of foliage look stunning!
Disney’s Riviera Resort
Over at Riviera Resort, there weren’t many over-the-top Christmas decorations, but we did see some classy touches around the main areas. In the gift shop, the displays of holiday merchandise were accented by this fancy gold and blue Christmas tree.
Out in the lobby, we noticed these wreaths hanging in the windows. The gold color scheme really fits the aesthetic of this hotel!
There were also several strands of festive garland hanging from the rafters. They drew our eyes up to notice the beautiful architecture of this resort!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Poly and Riviera indeed! Keep checking DFB to see more Christmas decor at the resorts, as well as the holiday celebrations all around Walt Disney World!
