We’re tasting our way around the 2020 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!
Just when we thought we couldn’t possibly make room for any more seasonal treats around Disney World the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has arrived! And we’re stopping by alllll of the festival food booths to see which ones deserve a spot on the “nice list!”
Our most recent stop takes us to the Tuscany Holiday Kitchen booth, located in the Italy Pavilion of the World Showcase!
Here, guests will find several food options on the menu, as well as a selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
You might spot some returning options like the Biancaneve Italian Flatbread with mozzarella, asiago, and parmesan for $8.50. This is your basic cheesy flatbread but is a great pick for pickier eaters in your crew. Check it out last year below:
We tried the Sacchetti alla Boscaiola for $9.50, which is a new item at this year’s festival! It consists of four-cheese mini beggar’s purses filled with sweet sausage, caramelized onions, pancetta, and cremini mushrooms with a creamy sauce.
Beggar’s Purses are just the shape of the ravioli. They look like tiny tied up sacks! This dish is good, but not great. It kind of tastes like plain old ravioli. We had a lot of trouble picking up on the mushroom flavor but we did taste a LOT of bacon (the pile on top might have had something to do with it!).

If you’re looking for a dessert, you can try the Cannoli Siciliani for $5.25, a crisp pastry filled with sweet ricotta, chocolate, and candied orange.
This treat is actually pretty good but it’s a far cry from an ACTUAL cannoli. If you’re big into Italian food, this one WON’T fill your cannoli craving. We also didn’t taste much orange, mostly just lots of chocolate and a good crunch. BUT, it’s sweet, cool, and creamy. So if you’re looking for a sweet bite, this is a decent option.
Drink wise, it’s all about wine here. You’ll find a little Italian beer as well. You’ll also find a reliably good drink here — the Italian Margarita. This has been a favorite for a number of years.
As usual, this booth is just fine in our books — nothing to wow you, but if you’re a big cheese fan or picky eater it could be a good spot. This booth is reliable in a good or a bad way, depending on your tastes. We’d personally love some more unique options or stronger flavors out of this spot, but for many seeking approachable Italian eats, this is just what they’re after, and that’s totally OK too! If you’d like to try any of the items from the Tuscany Holiday Kitchen, be sure to visit the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays from now through December 30th! Happy holidays, DFB friends!
