Halloween Cupcake With Rocky Road
You may recall the Rocky Road Cupcake, which glittered and glistened its way back into Captain Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort this year as one of the many Halloween treats that hit the scene. Though Spooky Season has ended (and, ICYMI, the holidays are pretty much HERE!), you can still enjoy it… but in a new way!
The Rocky Road Cupcake is now all decked out for the remainder of fall. And it is dressed to impress, if I do say!
Late Fall Rocky Road Cupcake
Once again, a chocolate cupcake base is totally stacked with layers of buttercream frosting, and filled with a milk chocolate-macadamia nut “rocky road” filling.

While the classic buttercream flavor remains, the bright purple and green have been changed for the more autumnal — but still vivid — yellow and red. Only orange remains from the previous look, tucked in as the bottom layer.

In place of the little bats and ghosts are colorful leaves… and a lovely frosting flower atop the not-so-hidden Minnie completes the look!

A hint of nutty flavor and marshmallow completes this chocolate-upon-chocolate cake, and fans of Rocky Road will likely enjoy the cake version of this classic ice cream!
