We’ve been snacking around Disney World today as the holiday season officially kicks off! Already we’ve tried Frozen Hot Chocolates in Hollywood Studios as well as a rather BIZARRE Pistachio Chai Tea Float in Magic Kingdom.
Disney also has several new festive churros around the parks, including the Gingerbread and Apple Chip and Dale Churros from Westward Ho. You would think that we were done finding churros, but that is where you would be wrong, friends!
It’s widely known that Disneyland is the place to be if you want churros, but we’ve been hoping for YEARS that Disney World could catch up and serve churros that would rival those on the west coast! So when we found the “Churro Worth Melting For” at the outdoor cart by Dumbo in New Fantasyland, we’ll admit that our hopes were high.
We’ll be totally honest with you guys, these churros aren’t it. The picture on the menu sign at least seemed like the marshmallow fluff drizzle would add an interesting component to the churros, but ours were barely covered!
If you’re into plain churros, then sure, you can’t go wrong with a classic, standard cinnamon churro. But out of all of the dazzling holiday snacks we’ve tried so far today, these are by far among the most plain and disappointing. We know Disney can do a million times better!
If that wasn’t enough, when we went to dip our churro in the side of marshmallow fluff, we came across a rather morbid discovery. Granted, we might be in the middle of a sugar crash, but is that…Olaf?! Did Olaf really melt for these churros? Oh Olaf, it wasn’t worth it, buddy!
Luckily, Olaf is his own personal snow flurry to keep him from actually melting in the Florida heat! And while a pair of churros for $6.50 isn’t that bad of a deal, we think you’d be better off spending that cash on a different holiday treat! There are TONS of great snacks in each of the four parks, and we think there’s something for just about everyone!
