REVIEW! Don’t Sleep on Sapphire Holiday Kitchen at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays!

We are LIVE from the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays! Already, we’ve tried what’s on the menu at Holiday Hearth, Festival Favorites, and Prost!

2020 Taste of EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

Up next is a trip over to Sapphire Holiday Kitchen. Located in the Morocco Pavilion, this booth is serving up some returning items from last year’s festival!

Right off the bat, Sapphire Holiday Kitchen gets points for having one of the prettiest booths across the festival.

But does its menu measure up? Fans of Sapphire Holiday Kitchen will be glad to know that they’re serving up a trifecta of returning food items.

Let’s dig right in and see what’s in store this season!

Food

First up is the Grilled Lamb Kefta Kebab and Grapes, complete with Euro Cucumber, Red Pepper, Pickled Pearl Onions, and Harissa-Cilantro Dressing.

Grilled Lamb Kefta Kebab and Grapes

The Kefta is always a favorite of ours, and this year was no exception! Once again Disney delivered a solid, delicious, FLAVORFUL dish! It’s also a decent size portion of food to fill you up.

The Kefta dish costs $9. Next is the Confit of Chermoula Chicken Drum. This dish comes with Cinnamon Granny Smith Apple, Toasted Almonds, Brussels Sprouts, and a Pinot Noir Glaze.

There are a lot of flavors happening in this dish! If you’re interested in trying it out, it also costs $9. And last but certainly not least, we are reunited with our beloved Sfenj! We look forward to seeing this dish return each year, and it even made it on our Best of the Fest list from 2019!

Sfenj!

Sfenj is a plate of Warm Beignets (who doesn’t love a Disney beignet?) with Cream, Cinnamon-Sugar, and Chocolate Sauce. This is always a knock-out dessert and is NOT to be missed! This tasty dish costs $6.

Beverages

Sapphire Holiday Kitchen has three beverages to choose from. For an easy drinkable beer, you can sip on the Mediterranean Beer for $4.50 for a 6oz pour, or $9 for a 12 oz pour. It’s not the most exciting beer at the festival, but it’s a good choice if you’re a beer drinker and looking for something to pair with your food.

Mediterranean Beer

For everyone else, there’s the Kasbah Prestige Red Wine for $7, as well as the returning Andalusian “Poinsettia” Cocktail. This cocktail is a mixture of Sparking Wine, Orange Liqueur, and Cranberry Juice topped with Orange Blossom Water. It’s basically Christmas in a cup and it costs $9.

If any of these tickle your fancy, be sure to stop by Sapphire Holiday Kitchen in the Morocco Pavilion during your visit to the Taste of EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. The booths will be around through December 30th!
