Review! This Holiday Tree Mousse in Disney World is Almost Too Cute to Eat!

The holidays have officially arrived in the Disney World parks!

Tower of Terror Holiday Projections

While we’ve been enjoying the festive decor, we’ve spent most of the day getting our hands on alllll of the holiday snacks we could find! And this latest treat was just too cute to pass up!

This holiday season, Backlot Express is home to several holiday treats, including the Red Velvet Whoopie Pie, the Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, and the adorable Holiday Tree Mousse!

Holiday Tree Mousse

This pretty little treat is made with milk chocolate chia mousse on an almond financier cake and a butter cookie. And before we even tasted this snack, we were struck by how cute it is! Seriously, just look at that little tree standing proud next to its massive (but definitely less edible) counterpart!

Now, let’s talk taste — there wasn’t much flavor in the mousse, but the texture was perfectly light and fluffy. The almond cake was our favorite part, and we would have loved for there to be even more of an almond kick to the flavor! But if you’re looking for a dessert with a light flavor that’s not overly sweet, this could be right up your alley.

This dessert is pretty small, so we thought the price of $5.49 was a little bit steep. But hey, it’s pretty! If you’d like to snag the Holiday Tree Mousse, you can find it at Backlot Express. Happy holidays, DFB friends!
