The Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays has officially kicked off! Holiday goodies inspired by various countries and cultures have littered the park and you KNOW we’re trying them all! You can follow along with us live here!
The event has been modified this year with less entertainment and limited menu items. Disney is still bringing us new items to try and even a few new food kiosks! New this year is the English Garden in the UK Pavilion. We’re trying ALL the holiday drinks inspired by the country that loves tea!
Did you know it actually gets chilly in Florida?? Sometimes a brisk wind will pick up in Orlando and we might even put on a light jacket! It’s rare times like these that we could really go for a warm beverage. The returning holiday drink featured at the UK Pavilion is the Twinings Christmas Tea Toddy served with a cinnamon stick. You can choose to get this drink hot or iced, so there’s an option no matter the weather!
You can order the modified hot toddy with a shot of Drambuie Scotch whisky or without alcohol.
We REALLY enjoyed this drink, it was quite refreshing! And it was a nice mid-day pick-me-up. Of course, it’s not the most creative drink, but it’s great for whiskey lovers! Definitely stop by the UK pavilion to try it out — it’ll be a great way to rehydrate after eating all the holiday snacks.
The regular Iced Christmas Toddy is $3.99 a cup, while the alcoholic version will cost you $9.39. Today, we were directed to pay inside the shop. We then brought out our receipt and were given our drink. We were told that they should have a register outside tomorrow. So you should be able to purchase your drinks at the actual stand soon.
Is it still too warm to enjoy a hot toddy in Florida? You can always make your own at home! The UK Pavilion gift shop sells a huge variety of Twinings Tea. Pick up some of the signature teas and create your own holiday beverage! Stay tuned with us all season long as we try the new bites and beverages at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays!
