We have loved all the holiday offerings in Disney World so far!
We’ve got holiday cavalcades in each park, TONS of delicious seasonal snacks, decorations in the resorts and parks, and we even have loads of seasonal fun in Disney Springs! Even though this year is different than what we’ve experienced in the past, we’re still loving it. And now, select guests will be able to get a taste of what things were like before with a socially-distanced meet and greet with Santa Claus!
Starting on November 27th, the new Santa’s Village experience (on select nights) at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort will allow guests to celebrate the holidays in a magical way! There are several activities scheduled for this event, including socially-distanced reindeer games, cookie decorating, and a dazzling light show on the outdoor causeway each evening.
In addition to these, guests will get the chance to meet Santa Claus himself, along with Mrs. Claus and Kandy Kane the elf — all decked out in their Florida vacation best! This unique socially-distanced meet and greet will be available on the nights of November 27-28 and December 4-5, 11-12, 18-19, and 21-22.
Another great place to take some photos will be the Life-Size Chocolate Holiday Santa Scene. This sculpture is made entirely of chocolate, created by the resort’s pastry chef, Laurent Branlard. It’s available for viewing in the lobby of the Swan Hotel, and if eaten, would cost you 4 million calories!
If you’d like to bring the Christmas spirit to your hotel room, in-room holiday movies will be offered 24/7 during the season! Deck the Halls Decoration Packages will also be available — where elves decorate your room with holiday decor and tasty treats. And, on Christmas Eve, guests who wish for Santa to visit can pick up a key for Santa from the hotel desk and hang it on their door, considering the rooms don’t have chimneys!
If you’d like to experience all these festivities, room rates for the holiday season start at $167 a night. Guests can also enjoy up to 50% off a second room with code SANTA. We’re so happy Santa is returning to the Swan and Dolphin, even if it’s in a new way. This sounds like a lovely way to spend the holidays with your family, and you’ll get to be right on Disney property to enjoy the fun of the theme parks!
