Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Saratoga Springs and Contemporary Resorts.

And, we’ve got plenty of entertainment, merchandise, construction, and food updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort

Saratoga Springs Entertainment Update

The holiday season has finally arrived at Disney World, and we’re so thrilled to be exploring everything happening at the resorts! Disney’s Saratoga Springs is ringing in the season already with decorations located all around the area.

Before guests enter Saratoga Springs, garlands are strung up through the entryway…

…while they’re greeted with multiple Christmas trees in the lobby once they’re inside.

The trees are decked out with ornaments, flowers, and bows as they light up the lobby’s atmosphere…

…while the garlands are placed around the concierge and guest services areas.

The Community Hall featured the activities that were happening around the resort, including the “Movie Under the Stars” program…

…and a few Thanksgiving-related things to do as well! Guests can color a themed image…

…or write what they’re thankful for on a feather to place on the Thanksgiving Turkey at Saratoga Springs!

We spotted a message from a Cast Member that honestly warmed our hearts while we were reading everyone’s feathers!

If you head outside the Community Hall, the resort is conducting “Mickey Tie-Dye” every day at 3PM. While you can get short sleeve shirts for $14 and long sleeve shirts for $20, pillowcases, bandanas, and more are also available.

Guests have a whole rainbow of colors to choose from that are based on multiple characters…

…so you can make an AWESOME accessory or outfit to wear during your next trip to the parks.

Saratoga Springs Merchandise Update

Since Saratoga Springs is a Disney Vacation Club resort, the Artist’s Palette is showing off a new Disney Vacation Club Tervis Tumbler for $34.99…

…that’s perfect to take with you on your travels throughout the holiday season!

The Artist’s Palette is selling its dated products for 70% off as well…

…so you can get mugs, ears, backpacks, frames, and more for a HUGE discount!

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Contemporary Resort Entertainment Update

But, the holiday decorations don’t stop at Disney’s Saratoga Spring Resort! Although we’ve already taken a look at the Christmas embellishments at the Bay Lake Tower, Disney’s Contemporary Resort is also joining in on the festivities!

The Contemporary Resort has gone with more of a golden theme on their garlands…

…trees placed around the lobby and different floors…

…and gorgeous wreaths welcoming everyone to Disney World!

Plus, you can spot gingerbread houses that have been adorned with snowmen, Santa Claus, and pine trees on the tabletops in the Contemporary.

Contemporary Resort Merchandise Update

Buena Vista Gifts had a few pre-packaged holiday gift baskets and even let guests make their own!

The bags featured themed plushes, mugs, accessories, and more that range anywhere from $60 to $130!

Contemporary Resort Food Update

Although we won’t be able to enjoy the Gingerbread Houses that usually appear at the Disney Resorts this year, you can still find cookies and other treats at the Contempo Cafe! The Gingerbread Boy Cookie, Linzer Cookie…

…Chocolate Peppermint Cookie…

…Chocolate Peppermint Bark…

…and a Build-Your-Own Gingerbread Kit are available for guests to purchase during their visit to the resort!

Contemporary Resort Construction Update

Since there are new health and safety regulations around Disney World, the parks and resorts have continued to move forward with their updated measures. We’ve already begun to see the new Evolv Safety Scanners put in places like Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Contemporary Resort has also stationed one for the guests that are boarding the monorails to the Magic Kingdom.
