Hey there, DFB friends! Who’s ready for a trip around Magic Kingdom??
With the Thanksgiving holiday just around the corner, we stopped into Magic Kingdom to see what’s new since our last visit. Here are all of the latest food, construction, and merchandise updates from the park!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Friar’s Nook
Friar’s Nook recently started serving breakfast again, so we stopped by this morning to partake!
The Cast Member informed us that breakfast is currently being served until 10:45AM.
Check out our review of breakfast at Friar’s Nook!
The Lunching Pad
Since the Cheshire Cafe still remains closed, the popular Cheshire Cat Tail pastries have been bouncing between The Lunching Pad and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. We stopped by The Lunching Pad on our most recent trip and they did NOT have the Cheshire Cat Tails available, so the Cast Member redirected us to Cosmic Ray’s.
So, if you have your heart set on a Cheshire Cat Tail on your next trip, you might have to check both of these locations to try to hunt one down!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Pirates of the Caribbean Sign
We recently noticed that the Pirates of the Caribbean sign was replaced with a plain black sail, instead of the previous sail with the ride logo. And the plain black sail was still in place on our most recent visit!
A Cast Member confirmed that this is just a placeholder that will be replaced with a new sail eventually, so we’ll continue to keep an eye out for the new sign!

Rivers of America
The water at Rivers of America is still currently drained for construction.
When we walked past, we noticed several construction workers walking along the Liberty Square Riverboat track and they appeared to be making chalk marks every few feet.
Both the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island are scheduled for refurbishment through January 2nd, so we’ll continue to keep an eye out for any further construction progress!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Emporium
On Main Street, U.S.A., we spotted a few new Dooney & Bourke bags available in the Emporium! We saw the Dooney & Bourke Reigning Cats & Dogs collection…
…as well as the Dooney & Bourke Tangled collection!
Many of the Dooney & Bourke designs tend to go fast, so if you have your heart set on one, be sure to snag it when you see it!

And that does it for all of the latest updates from Magic Kingdom! Be sure to stay tuned for more new snacks, merchandise, and construction progress. Happy (early) Thanksgiving, DFB readers!
