Today, we visited the amazing Universal Studios and the holiday season is coming right along, and you know what that means, Christmas decorations. The best time of the year is when you can visit the Parks and get the full Christmas effect, early! We took a peak at the Christmas Decorations, Merch Stands, and the Holiday Tribute Store throughout Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Join us as we share with you a list of new things that we’ve noticed here at Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure.
CHRISTMAS TREE
Everyone’s favorite time of year is Christmas, we know it’s ours. From the Christmas music, decorations and more, Universal Studios has finally put up their Christmas Tree and that’s when you know it’s that time of year. The Christmas Tree here at Universal Studios is very massive and beautifully decorated. This tree is so big that when you look up at the top you almost fall over, you know when you get that feeling from looking straight up for too long you get dizzy, that’s how big this tree is. Something cool about this Christmas Tree is that there is always a hidden squirrel that pops out and it’s your goal to find it.
HOLIDAY TRIBUTE STORE
Coming soon to Universal Studios, the first ever, Holiday Tribute Store! The Tribute Store has become a staple of Universal’s events, especially during Halloween Horror Nights. This year, they are in the works of opening a Tribute Store that will debut at Universal Studios Florida for the Holiday Season. This new Christmas Store is located in the same location as the season Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store, which opens up each Halloween season. You can even see the signare up from the HHN Tribute Store from the previous year. This Christmas Store is a highly-themed store experience that will offer merchandise and food centered around the event. Universal has yet to announce a set opening day for this store, but Christmas season usually runs from November thru January 3. We can’t wait to check this amazing store out when it’s finally open.
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS IN DIAGON ALLEY
Christmas is for the Wizards. The Wizards in Diagon Alley have started to set up they’re decorations early. Here in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios they have Harry Potter themed Christmas Decorations all throughout. They have a creepy black reef with sparkly lights on a light post, christmas lights and long reefs all throughout the Alley. The Goblins here in Diagon Alley even got the Christmas Spirit and decided to decorate they’re building. As of right now in Diagon Alley they do not have any Christmas themed merchandise out.
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS IN SUESS LANDING
We all love Christmas Decorations and the spirit of Christmas but so does Dr. Seuss. Right at the entrance of Seuss Landing you are greeted with a beautiful Christmas Tree that changes colors along with beautiful decorations hanging around. All throughout Seuss Landing they have decorations everywhere from Christmas Lights, Reefs, Candy Canes, Christmas Trees and more, they have really gotten in the Christmas spirit. Who would have throughout that the Lorax was the Christmas type, he even got into the spirit and decided to set up shop early.
VELICOASTER CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
It’s been awhile since we’ve last seen or talked about the Velicoaster Construction Progress. But from what my eyes can see, they have done tremendous work and have really came along. They’ve added a lot of greenery around the coaster to really give it the Jurassic theme and the wall from last time we saw it has been painted and grown a lot more. The coaster itself has really grown a lot and is really coming together, it looks like so much fun and very massive! Can can not wait to ride this amazing coaster, Universal says it should be opening in the Summer of 2021, so not long from now.
