We’re BACK in Downtown Disney!
And, boy, do we have some news! We spotted some exciting changes as Downtown Disney gets ready for the opening of Buena Vista Street, plus a TON of new merch. So, here’s everything new in construction and merchandise!
Before we dive in, we wanted to note that Downtown Disney was surprisingly crowded for a weekday!
We’re thinking the big crowds may have been due to Veterans Day.

Downtown Disney Construction Updates
Starting off with construction updates, we noticed that social distancing stickers have been added to both switchback queue areas…
…and the ticket booths in preparation for the opening of Buena Vista Street next week.
Plus, there are plexiglass barriers on the turnstiles headed into Disney California Adventure.
If you peek through the gates, you can spot Christmas decorations on Buena Vista Street!
We’re pretty pumped to be strolling among the ribbon and garland again.
