Merry Christmas Eve, DFB friends!
We spent the day at Magic Kingdom as we continue to enjoy some great holiday entertainment, character cavalcades, and holiday snacks at Disney World! And we took some photos to bring you along with us today, so are you ready?
Let’s head on in, shall we?

Let’s start our journey on Main Street, U.S.A. — although it did look crowded at times today, we never really felt like it was oppressive in the way you’d expect a holiday crush to be in Disney World. With capacity still capped to 35%, today felt even less crowded than previous weeks!
When a character cavalcade started, it wasn’t even that packed on the sidewalks!
But wait, who is that coming down the street?
Is it? Could it be? Is it…SANTA? Isn’t he…busy today???
Sure enough, the big guy stopped by Disney World before he had to head back up to the North Pole to get ready for his busy night!
Let’s watch the whole cavalcade! Merry Christmas, Santa!

All that excitement made us hungry, so we popped into the Main Street Confectionary. One of EVERYTHING, please?
So many treats! pic.twitter.com/FRcDS6qgEg

Seriously, though, we’re going to get some of those shortbread cookies! But we were surprised that this display, usually bedecked with Christmas treats, had been switched to solely shortbread. It’s a little soon to ditch the Christmas stuff isn’t it?
Once we stocked up on sweets, we stopped long enough to admire these pretty holiday parasols.

We also took time to say Merry Christmas to some of our non-human Magic Kingdom buds.

And then it was over to Tomorrowland!

And yes, we did stare wistfully at the PeopleMover — it’s currently under refurbishment until next year.
Oh, well, we’ll just take a nice peaceful walk instead. There are places in the park that almost made us feel like we had it to ourselves!
Even Splash Mountain seems lonely and there is NO line! Oh, wait, that’s because it’s down — again. Yep, Splash was out of commission for a while today.
Nothing to see here right now. Just walk on by…

But we had the opportunity to ride plenty of other attractions! Overall, we had a pretty quiet and relaxing day at Magic Kingdom, and we’re really surprised at how chill it was. 2020 continues to surprise us.
