5 New Holiday Treats to Enjoy at Disney Resorts

The holiday season is in full swing at the Walt Disney World Resort and despite the challenges that have been presented in 2020, the cast members and pastry chefs are as creative as ever in bringing the magic to visiting guests.

Whether you’re just visiting for the day or you’re on vacation, there are so many ways to enjoy a little bit of holiday cheer. The festive garlands pictured above can be seen at the entrance to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa which happens to be my personal favorite – especially during Christmas time! Listen for the talented pianist who performs live music most afternoons and evenings in the grand lobby.

During your visits to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian, or Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney has shared that guests may spot a favorite Disney pal taking in the sights, as well.

Below is the triple-chocolate Happy Holidays Grand Cake Pop that can be found at Gasparilla Island Grill at the Grand Floridian.

This absolutely beautiful Christmas Candy Drop is filled with milk chocolate mousse, chocolate sponge, hazelnut custard, and cherry reduction and can be purchased at Le Petit Café at Disney’s Riviera Resort.

These delicate pink plant-based macarons are available at The Artist’s Palette inside Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

Cookie Trees made with stacks of vanilla cookies decorated with royal icing, mini-pearls, and snow sugar, along with a charming miniature Gingerbread Carousel complete with hidden Mickeys and a sugar replica of this year’s gingerbread pin are available at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort

Since we’re talking about sweets, the Disney pastry chefs are baking up even more holiday happiness this year for gingerbread fans with a lineup of delicious cookies, kits, and more.

This year’s highlights include a classic Gingerbread Mickey available at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort’s BoardWalk Bakery and the Contemporary Gingerbread House Kit from the Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. In case you missed it, Deni walked us through the process of building this whimsical gingerbread house in the vlog below; enjoy!
