Before you read on, this article does contain a BIG spoiler for the end of The Mandalorian season 2. If you want to make sure you’re completely surprised, click away now! But, we HAD to share that one fan-favorite character is getting their very own spin-off series on Disney+!
After the credits, Disney announced that Book of Boba Fett will be coming to Disney+ in December 2021. Finally! Many a Star Wars fan has been hoping for a Boba-centric film or series since the character was first introduced in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

We’re not sure whether Book of Boba Fett will take the form of a series, film, or even Mandalorian season. But we are SO excited that it’s coming.

Okay, it’s about to get even more spoiler-y with details about the new series and how it relates to The Mandalorian. So, SERIOUSLY, if you haven’t watched and care even a little bit about spoilers, come back later!

The announcement popped up at the end of a post-credits scene featuring Boba Fett, Fennec Shand, and Bib Fortuna in a familiar Skywalker Saga location. To learn more, you’ll need to watch the episode for yourself! We don’t want to spoil too much.

Still, it seems that Boba Fett and Fennec Shand will both be featured in the Book of Boba Fett. As you might remember, Fennec Shand has been featured in The Mandalorian, and Ming-Na Wen has confirmed she is cast in the animated spin-off series, The Bad Batch.
