We’ve learned A LOT about upcoming film and TV projects from Disney today!

Today is the Walt Disney Company’s virtual Investor Day, and they’ve shared info on new Star Wars shows, upcoming film sequels, and several animated projects. In the midst of the Lucasfilm presentation, we got some very exciting news about another movie that’s getting a sequel — Indiana Jones!
During today’s presentation, it was announced that the final installment of the Indiana Jones franchise will be coming in July of 2022! Harrison Ford will be back for this last chapter, and they’ll begin filming in late spring of 2021.

What will be the 5th film in the series is currently in pre-production. The last film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, was released in 2008.
