It doesn’t take a lot these days to be incredible, at least that’s the case if you ask the Parr family and friends, a.k.a. The Incredibles!
The Pixar favs are the stars of a new Public Service Campaign from the Disneyland Resort that will be visible around across Orange County and Los Angeles County reminding residents to follow local health and safety guidelines.
Edna Mode, ElastiGirl, Frozone, Jack-Jack, Violet Parr, Dash, and Mr. Incredible star in the “Together We Can Be Incredible” campaign.
The PSAs remind Californians to do simple things to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Messages emphasize hand washing, social distancing, and wearing a face covering. The PSAs will be featured via digital billboards, radio, TV, social media, and more. Watch one of the messages below:
“The campaign emphasizes important health and safety measures, including physical distancing, face coverings, hand washing, and more, and leverages each character’s personality to bring the messages directly to our local communities in a dynamic way,” Dr. Pamela Hymel, chief medical officer, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, said in a press release. “Our message is that together we can help the community if we’re all responsible and do our part.”
The campaign will be seen across Orange County and Los Angeles County, including at spots owned by the Los Angeles Angels, Anaheim Ducks, and more. Messages will be broadcast in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Furthermore, Disneyland is working with local school districts to provide tools and resources for students.
We’ve previously seen these PSAs at the Disney Parks, but the messaging is cute AND important! Because face masks = in, even if capes are SO out!
