Just a few days ago, we were munching on holiday cupcakes and more all around Disneyland Resort and the newly reopened Buena Vista Street.
But, things have quickly changed in California. Last week, Governor Newsom announced that stay-at-home orders would be imposed for regions based on ICU availability. This weekend, Southern California (the region that Disneyland Resort is located in) reached the set ICU capacity level, triggering the stay-at-home order for that region. Under this new order, restaurants can only be open for takeout or delivery. Disneyland confirmed that some of the restaurants at the resort would remain open for takeout under this order, while others would entirely close. Here’s your full list of what restaurants are and are not open at Disneyland Resort based on our trip today.
As we were parking, Cast Members were reminding/informing guests as they entered and pay that, pursuant to the new stay-at-home order, there is NO drinking or eating allowed on Disneyland Resort property.
The only thing Disney was allowing guests to bring in was resealable water bottles (no Starbucks drinks or anything else). All food purchased at Disneyland Resort must be taken off property before it can be eaten. We saw various signs all around Disneyland Resort reminding guests of this.
So, if you will be heading to Disneyland Resort at any point in the near future, be sure to eat before going as you will not be able to eat while there. Here’s a look at what restaurants are open and which ones are closed at the moment.

Additionally, the OC Register reports that Ballast Point Brewing is open as well.
Retail Stores
In terms of what else is open, we noticed that all of the retail stores were essentially open. We also saw that some outdoor merchandise carts had moved to the attractions time board in Disney California Adventure Park and expanded a bit.
We also saw a sign in one store noting that Pin Trading is not available at the moment.

The following restaurants were closed when we visited Disneyland Resort today.
1. Starbucks

The regional stay-at-home order that is now in effect for Southern California will remain in effect for a minimum of 3 weeks, at which point the situation will be reevaluated. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates and let you know if things change.
