Traveling can be very stressful, especially right now.
That’s why many locations like the Orlando International Airport (MCO) have put several health and safety measures in place. Their employees are required to wear masks, and MCO will soon be among the locations to offer rapid testing for COVID-19 on-site. Now, the airport is piloting a new system to help guests stay physically distanced while at their gate, and we’ve got the details!
Originally shared in a tweet from Jessica Albert, a reporter with FOX 35 in Orlando (@FOX35Jessica), these photos show off the new screens installed. They help passengers determine how busy a gate is with a color-coded system.
This new system is called “Evenflow Crowd Radar” and is currently being piloted at the airport. If all works as intended, this could help aid in safety and help to assist guests with social distancing.
Stay tuned to DFB as we get more updates and information on this system, as well as other health and safety precautions in place at MCO and Disney World. Thank you for trusting us as your source for all things Disney!
