DESSERT ALERT!!! Gideon’s Bakehouse Is Selling Cups of Frosting at Disney World!

Oh, Gideon’s Bakehouse, how we love you…Let us count the ways.

Gideon’s Bakehouse

We’re already obsessed with this new bakery that recently opened up at Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district, Disney Springs, thanks to its massive, chocolate chip-loaded cookies and iced coffee!

And tonight, we discovered ANOTHER reason to love this spot.

Gideon’s cookie and frosting

Umm, what’s that next to a packaged cookie? Oh, NBD, it’s just A TUB OF GIDEON’S FROSTING!

Gideon’s frosting for sale

We already knew this spot sold candles, pins, and cakes in addition to its half-pound cookies, but this frosting was new to us tonight! After we waited in a multi-hour long virtual waitlist to get into this spot, we saw they had tubs of frosting for sale! By the time we got in there, there were just four containers of peanut butter frosting left, but they also had sold vanilla earlier in the day.

Gideon’s frosting

And, boyyyy, it smells DIVINE!

Gideon’s peanut butter frosting

This little tub of deliciousness costs $1.50, and what you do with it is up. to. you! Dip your peanut butter cookies in it, add a little something-something to a piece of cake or coffee, or eat it straight! We will not judge!!

Frosting!!!

Currently, Gideon’s Bakehouse is operating under a soft opening at its Disney Springs location, and it will fully open in 2021! So, we’re sure to see new additions to its menu and merch offerings in the coming weeks. And as we spot these new things at Gideon’s, we will be sure to let you know ASAP!

PHOTOS: Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Full Trains Seen at the Magic Kingdom as Refurbishment Nears End

It looks like work on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is nearing its final phases. Soon, ride vehicles may be once again be silently moving over Tomorrowland. The long-time Magic Kingdom favorite has not operated since Walt Disney World reopened in mid-July. Throughout the refurbishment, PeopleMover vehicles were spread throughout the length of the attraction’s track. We noticed Cast Members testing ride vehicles just over a week ago. Paint crews recently finished the refurbishment of the ride’s supports. Today, ride […]

PHOTO REPORT: Universal Orlando Resort 12/27/20 (Parks Reach Capacity, Heavy Crowds, Long Lines, Osprey Sightings, and More)

universal-orlando-photo-report-dec-12-27-2020-pt3-8-8670152

The sun is shining and the crowds are back at the Universal Orlando Resort. The parks were much busier today than the last few days, and both parks would reach capacity before noon. The wait times around the park were some of the longest we’ve seen in a while. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit was open and at a 180 minute wait. Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts queue was at capacity. Guests with Express Passes could still get in […]

VIDEO: This Baby Babirusa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Is Basically Us at a Theme Park!

If you’re like us, you know the best thing about Disney’s Animal Kingdom isn’t necessarily Flight of Passage or Expedition Everest…

Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom

The best thing about Animal Kingdom is right there in the park’s name — the ANIMALS, of course!

They’re SO cute, and honestly, sometimes they’re REALLY, truly relatable.

Kilimanjaro Safaris

Take, for instance, one of the newest little babies at Animal Kingdom, Kirana the babirusa (aka the deer-pig). She was only born back in May! Aww!

Baby Kirana!

Today, she had a LITTLE bit of energy to get out, and Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President, of Disney’s Animals, Science & Environment, posted her running and running and running around her pen on Instagram!

While we’ve often felt sluggish in 2020 (#quarantinelife), little Kirana honestly REALLY reminds us of, well, ourselves when we FINALLY get to Walt Disney World! What should we do first?! Run to get some coffee at Starbucks? Rope drop Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway or Splash Mountain?! Hit the shops?! Maybe all of it at once?! AHH! See, we’re zooming around in our heads already, just like this sweet little baby!

What’s New at Animal Kingdom: BIG Holiday Crowds, a Secret Menu Cocktail, and Baby Animal Pics!

One Disney Springs’ Restaurant’s Happy Hour Prices Increased by 40%!

There’s just something special about drinking around Disney Springs, especially if you can hit up a Happy Hour deal!

Disney Springs

And one of our fav spots to hit up has been Paradiso 37!

Lately, this Latin-inspired spot got a major menu revamp, which included the return of some old favorites (like the South American Crazy Corn)!

Paradiso 37 Disney Springs

And today, we noticed another major change! This spot’s happy hour cocktail price has been increased from $5 to $7!!

Paradiso 37 happy hour

You can get margaritas or domestic beers for $7 at the bar or to go, which still isn’t a terrible deal. Blood Orange Margaritas here are $16, and a Sam Adams is typically $9. So there are still savings to be had. (Note, however, that a Coors Lite is $7 any time of day, so choose your happy hour beer wisely.)

This isn’t the only menu price increase we’ve seen at Disney Springs lately. Raglan Road also upped its prices, as did The Edison. But, such is life. And there definitely ARE still deals to be had at Disney World, and you know we’ll let you know about every single one of them!

toy-soldiers-main-street-philharmonic-cinderella-castle-featured-image-hero-magic-kingdom-12282020-6923612

Hello from a slightly chilly, but overall beautiful day here at the Magic Kingdom! We were ready to check out all the new things in the park, and we found a lot of things to show you, so let’s get started! On our way into the park, we noticed new semi-circular cut-outs worked into the flexible dividers separating the benches in the Monorail. We spoke with a Monorail Cast Member and were told that the cut-outs were done in order […]
