If you’re looking for some delicious vegan baked goods, then head on over to Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC in Disney Springs!
This bakery specializes in vegan and allergy-friendly treats, so if you’re on a special diet, you may want to make a stop here for some sweet stuff! We’ve tried some over-the-top treats here, as well as some strangely decorated holiday snacks, and they never cease to amaze us with their creativity. And, on our visit today, we noticed something new!
We stopped by here today on our visit to Disney Springs, and we found an adorable new snack — this vegan Dreidel Cookie!
The cookie is here to celebrate Hanukkah, which began last night and ends on December 18th.
We picked one up for $4. It’s a pretty basic treat — sugar cookie with vanilla frosting, decorated to look like a dreidel.
It doesn’t look like much, but we were honestly really impressed with this cookie. The frosting tastes VERY similar to non-vegan frosting, and the cookie itself was a lot more moist and soft than we expected!
The sugar’s not too overpowering, so this probably wouldn’t make you sick to your tummy like some very sugary treats might. It’s pretty difficult to find Hanukkah treats in Disney World, so we’re glad we found this one.
Our only complaint with this cookie is that it was a tad underwhelming decoration-wise, especially when compared to Erin McKenna’s over-the-top Christmas treats. The Hanukkah treat deserves to be fancy too! However, we definitely commend Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC for not forgetting about this holiday that is special to so many!
We’ll be on the lookout for any more special Hanukkah treats to pop up in Disney World! In the meantime, make sure to stay tuned to DFB for the latest in Disney news!
