We’ve been busy trying out all the holiday snacks at Disney World, and new ones keep popping up every day!

And a lot of those snacks are cupcakes, including Wilderness Lodge’s Christmas Cupcake, an eggnog cupcake, and a red velvet wreath cupcake. And so many of these cupcakes are so pretty to look at, but the proof is in the taste — which is why we buy and try them ALL!

So we just tried yet ANOTHER Holiday Cupcake from Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. This one is a chocolate cupcake with vanilla buttercream and a white chocolate peppermint filling. And, well, that sounds great!

It’s also VERY pretty to look at — just look at how it sparkles with edible glitter! It’s GORGEOUS.

But we’re here for more than just a pretty cupcake — what matters is how it tastes. And we’re happy to report that this is not just a pretty cupcake — this is a YUMMY cupcake. The cake itself was so FRESH with tons of icing (oh, yeah). And that peppermint filling wasn’t too overwhelming. It balanced well with the white chocolate.

Do you see that? SO much filling, too! Like they don’t skimp on the good stuff here. Obviously, this is a very sweet snack, but delightfully so. And look at this — there are tiny peppermint candy bits IN the filling, so you get a nice little crunch with each bite of smooth frosting and moist cake. YUM.

So this one is both lovely and tasty! And if you want to try it out for yourself, you can grab it for $5.99. Warning, though — this is a cupcake for icing fans, and if you prefer a cupcake with more cake than icing, this is not the treat for you.
