Review: This Minnie Oreo Cupcake in Disney World Got a Holiday Makeover!

There’s no denying it — Minnie Mouse is a style icon!

Minnie and Mickey

Whether she’s rocking the dots or celebrating the holidays with a festive outfit, she looks fabulous no matter what she wears. But did you know that even Minnie’s CUPCAKES like to change their look from time to time? It’s true! Today, we found a Minnie Mouse cupcake that’s transformed its look to be a bit more holly and jolly, but is it delicious too? We had to find out!

Over at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you can typically find a Minnie Mouse Oreo Cupcake that looks a bit like this.

Around Halloween time, we found a too-cute-to-spook version there as well!

But, now, Minnie has decided it’s time for another makeover — and this time, it’s with a holiday twist! Introducing the holiday version of the Minnie Mouse Oreo Cupcake!

Holiday Minnie Mouse Oreo Cupcake

This treat is made of a cookies ‘n cream-filled chocolate cupcake topped with chocolate ganache, holiday sprinkles, 2 Oreo Minnie Ears, a white chocolate bow colored red, and a sugar cube peppermint accent!

Here’s a look at the ingredients. The cupcake does have egg, milk, soy, and wheat so that’s something to keep in mind for those with allergies.

We absolutely LOVED the cookies ‘n cream filling in this snack! But, there wasn’t a lot of actual cupcake. We would’ve liked more of the cake portion to balance out the sweetness of the cookies ‘n cream filling.

The Oreo cookies were also a bit damp and soft from being in the cooler case, which we didn’t particularly love. But, there’s no denying that this treat is SUPER cute! We especially loved the peppermint accent on the bow, but it was too sweet to eat in our opinion.

Overall, we think most people would enjoy this snack, especially kids! It’s cute and yummy. You can grab it right now for $5.99.

But, if you’re looking for something a bit different with more of a fruit flavor instead of chocolate, you might want to check out the Almond Fruit Tart also available at Gasparilla Island Grill, or one of their other options.
